About Projects that Matter

New Mexico is growing; every year new schools, hospitals, hotels and government buildings are built throughout the state. Most of the time, the specialists, craftsmen and journeymen behind the construction of these important buildings is a mystery. Projects That Matter (PTM) was developed to showcase premier construction projects in New Mexico and the companies that are a part of their conception, additions and upkeep.

PTM focuses on the superior craftsmanship and projects completed by Union workers. PTM illustrates the story of the contractors that build the HVAC systems that provide air conditioning and heat to hospitals, the electrical systems that light the hallways of schools and the intricate maze of pipes supplying the kitchens and bathrooms in the grandest hotels and resorts.

All of the projects featured were worked on by MESA Union contractors.
